I've recently graduated with Master's degree in Geography, specializing in GIS and remote sensing, from the University of North Texas in Denton, Texas. Additionally, I obtained my Bachelor's degree in Geography and Environment at Shahjalal University of Science and Technology, Sylhet, Bangladesh. Throughout my academic career, I developed a deep appreciation for the power of maps to convey complex information and tell compelling stories.

I'm passionate about GIS to use data-driven solutions to help organizations make informed decisions. I have a diverse set of GIS and remote sensing skills, including data management, spatial analysis, and geospatial visualization. I have worked with various GIS and remote sensing software, including ArcGIS, QGIS, CARTO, ENVI, and ERDAS Imagine, and enjoy experimenting with different workflows and data sources to see what works best for each project.

As I prepare to enter the field of GIS as a professional, I am excited to use my cartographic skills to help organizations communicate their data in meaningful ways. I believe that cartography is a crucial part of the GIS process, as it allows us to visualize spatial patterns and relationships in a clear and digestible manner.

I have had the opportunity to work on a variety of GIS and remote sensing projects during my studies, including creating interactive maps for mangrove forest, building 3D urban models, assessing hydrology of city parks, analyzing land use land cover change of a freshwater wetland, and digitizing scanned and pdf maps. I enjoy exploring new cartographic techniques and experimenting with different mapping styles to create unique and admirable maps.
